Thom Stuart

Senior Designer + Artist

With his boyish good looks and down-to-earth
charm, Thom is the ever creative dreamer who
adds a touch of soul to the Bright Yellow studio.
Raised in Iluka, along the NSW coast, Thom was
introduced to the world of art and design at a very
young age by his artist mother. His passion for the
visual arts has since been constantly evolving as he
strives to find new and unique ways to assert his
creative style.

Thom has been wowing the design industry
with his many talents since graduating from the
Queensland College of Art, a little over eight
years ago. He has collaborated on a wide range
of corporate and creative projects, two of which
landed him BAD [Brisbane Advertising and
Design] Awards.

With a keen eye for detail and a strong technical
foundation, Thom especially excels at corporate
branding and layout. He approaches every brief
with thought and consideration for communicating
the overall message.

Thom is a practising artist and musician who loves
nothing more than a refreshing morning surf. He’s
one of those all round annoying overachiever types,
but that’s why we love him!

If Thom was a beverage he’d be a home brew tallie;
he’s unique, self-made, strong, determined and
refreshingly creative.

Shayna Naran

Junior Designer + Illustrator

Shayna is a fun-loving, easy-going creative
type who enjoys illustration, op shopping
and funky tunes. Her quirky charm emanates
through everything she produces and, like a
subtle blend of neutral colours, Shayna is a
calming influence in the busy studio.

Whilst typography will always remain
Shayna’s first [design] love, she has a
newfound interest in corporate branding and
layout and is looking forward to the everyday
challenges that studio life throws her way.

Shayna loves reading, blogging, ice-cream
and travel. She approaches life with a relaxed
and confident attitude and is tipped to be the
studio’s quiet achiever.

If Shayna was available on a drinks menu
she would be a Boylan’s soda; she’s sweet,
bubbly, bursting with flavour, vintage at
heart, and a little bit cheeky.
